Beste Öztürk is a sound designer, composer, and educator based in Istanbul. With 13 years of teaching experience across cello, piano, and music theory, she works at the intersection of acoustic instrumentation and electronic sound design.
Trained as a classical cellist, she completed a Master’s in Sonic Arts at MIAM, Istanbul Technical University, and is currently in the thesis phase, focusing on generative audio for game environments using Unreal Engine and SuperCollider.
Her practice includes studio recording, field recording, and mixing & mastering. She works across Ableton Live, Pro Tools, Logic Pro X, iZotope RX, SuperCollider, and Max MSP — combining traditional recording techniques with generative and algorithmic sound design.
